Credit card rewards are big business. Forty-seven percent of adults say they’ve only used a credit card for its rewards. Many credit card rewards are sold based on the promise of a free ride. In contrast, we save and invest our credit card rewards.

Over three years, our invested premiums have grown to $30,676.28. Sign-up bonuses were a big part of that balance. Although we never receive a card just for the sign up bonus, this is a big part of our review.

With that in mind, here are seven cards that offer some of the best signup deals. Note that I cover hundreds of credit card sign up bonuses at allcards.com.

7 Credit Card Signup Bonuses

1. Venture X – $750 bonus

Capital One’s Venture X card offers a sign-up bonus of 75,000 miles if you spend $4,000 on the card within three months of account opening. Capital One miles have a value of 1 cent/mile when used for travel. As such, the sign-up bonus is worth up to $750.

The card costs $395 annual fee. However, this fee is offset by a number of other perks. Cardholders receive a 10,000-mile anniversary bonus worth up to $100, a $300 annual travel credit when booking through Capital One Travel, and a $100 credit toward Global Entry or TSA PreCheck.

2. Amex Platinum – $1,500 bonus

Like many Amex cards, this card has a hefty $695 annual fee, but it comes with some great benefits. The Amex Platinum card awards an impressive sign-up bonus of 150,000 points when you spend $6,000 on your new card after six minutes of account opening.
